The Data & Analytics business unit focuses on three key focus areas: 1) Advising clients in data strategy related questions 2) Building world-class actionable marketing data-assets providing competitive advantage 3) Helping clients to create insight and action in everyday business. Currently you have in Helsinki approximately a dozen colleagues across expertise in the areas of customer & online behavioral data, data engineering and data science. In Stockholm you have additionally twice as much Avausian in the Data & Analytics field to collaborate with.
As Data Strategist in Avaus Data & Analytics unit your main responsibilities includes the following:
Lead data strategy assignments for our rich client base and set best practices & methodologies for data strategy competence development.
Translate customer business goals into well defined data requirements.
Advisory role on sales & marketing data-asset development understanding which data is creating value.
Building data governance models together with client stakeholders.
Designing KPI frameworks to support measuring results and guiding decision making.
Courage for hands-on analysis tasks besides theoretical planning to support your view points using some of the most common BI tools or scripts if you prefer.
You are not afraid to give your view on topics like GDPR, compliance, it-security etc. without being a top expert in those topics.
To succeed in this role we expect the following:
Previous experience working in similar roles between the business and data & tech either from consulting or from the client side.
Conceptual and technical understanding of combining data sources creating customer insight.
Good match with Avaus culture corner stones (www.avaus.com/about-us/).
Can do attitude and appetite for creating commercial success for our clients.
Ability to earn your clients trust by showing direction and coming up with unexpected fresh ideas.
Suitable business or technical oriented education.
Location in Helsinki, Finland. As language skills either Finnish or Swedish required besides fluent English.
