The Demand Generation & Email Marketing Manager will create the demand generation strategy and execute using our marketing technology stack to drive revenue and will own the quarterly lead metrics. You will be responsible for developing and implementing programmatic and manual email programs with the goal of successfully engaging and nurturing prospects, leads, and customers.
We are looking for a passionate direct marketer who has experience driving successful campaigns and who is relentless in their approach to testing and optimization.
In this role you will:
Develop integrated demand generation campaign strategies
Lead overall integrated campaign strategy execution and planning, outlining key marketing themes, messages, and offers and mediums for promotions throughout the year
Deliver on quarterly demand generation goals: # net new leads created, # SQLs, # opportunities
Work cross functionally with other teams and team members to create a portfolio of marketing programs including: website, content marketing, database marketing, email nurturing, paid advertising, content syndication, seo, social media, blogs, events & webinars.
Drive the calendaring, testing strategy, execution, and analysis for campaigns across geographies.
Provide guidance on email best practices during creative process and development.
Design and execute tests that support key hypotheses and deliver actionable insights in support of the business objectives.
Analyze campaign performance, summarize key insights, and offer recommendations.
Continually optimize creative, channels, messaging, call to actions, and spend for maximum ROI
Provide recommendations to executive leadership on how to expand digital marketing capability including talent, skills, tools and platforms to maximize the digital channel reach and effectiveness.
To win in this role, you need:
4+ years experience developing and executing successful demand generation programs with a focus in B2B marketing for a software or technology company
Strong experience and expertise in digital marketing, including email and database marketing.
Experience using Email Marketing Tools including technical awareness of email deliverability techniques and HTML personalization
Strong analytical and quantitative skills—must have both an interest and skill in analyzing and making meaning out of data and translating that into actionable changes
A mindset for segmentation, optimization, and testing, with a track record of constantly optimizing various programs and testing new ways of executing
An understanding in how to develop complex dataflows with technical capability, excellent communication and a desire to improve process
A keen attention to detail
Experience with search marketing and online advertising is a plus.
