We're hiring software engineers to join our team, which includes distributed computing experts, inventors of programming languages, and founding startup engineers with exits. We are looking for outstanding frontend developers with an excellent eye for UI/UX graphic design; we need hackers who can build rapid prototypes, ship fast, invent new solutions to hard problems, take pride and ownership in their work, and want to work in a top-tier technical team.

***REQUIREMENTS***

Hands on experience in the following areas:

Web application development including dynamic end-user facing websites

Javascript, prototypes, closures, event delegation, performance and working with the DOM

Frameworks such as Backbone.js, AngularJS, as well as HTML5, jQuery, and modern CSS. Interest in React.js a plus

UX and UI design concepts and discipline

Interfaced with Restful APIs to integrate external services into projects including mobile and web environments (e.g. Box, OneDrive, Google Drive, AWS, Azure, GCP)

Unit-testing and using technologies such as Jest, Jasmine or Mocha/Chai. Deployment and package management (ex: Docker, continuous integration, alerting and monitoring (ex: Nagios, Stackdriver, New Relic), configuration and optimization of web servers data systems (ex: Apache/Nginx, Memcache/Redis/Sphinx). Unix proficiency.

At least 4 years of work experience

Experience working in fast and iterative development cycles.

Independent, ownership mentality, team player, fast learner; side projects and history of tinkering a plus, startup experience

Experience building products from scratch in small startup teams

Advanced degree in CS or equivalent field from top institution, or equivalent practical experience
