Frontend Engineer - Very Good Security - SF

We are looking to hire ambitious, self-motivated JavaScript lovers, who will play a key role in
building a high throughput, low latency data security platform.
VGS is seeking highly technical individuals with an equal flair for creative problem solving, who
stays up-to-date on emerging technologies, and aspires to contribute to the product
development.


Job Responsibilities:


● Develop new user-facing features
● Evaluate, and revamp existing frontend code, identifying areas for improvement
● Test your code
● Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
● Work closely with backend and product teams, advising on frontend technical decisions
for new systems functionality
● Create documentation and well-commented code

● JS framework (Ember.js, React.js)
● ECMAScript 6 modules, AMD, and CommonJS
● Git
● React, Knockout, Web Components, etc.

Requirements:


● Passionate about your work
● 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on UI and firm
understanding of frontend best practices

● Expert knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies (HTML5, CSS, SASS)
● Detailed experience with at least one JS framework (Ember.js or/and React.js) and
testing tools
● Understanding of JavaScript module patterns, such as ECMAScript 6 modules, AMD,
and CommonJS
● Expert knowledge of source control concepts and can commit code to repositories such
as Git
● Experience writing reusable UI components (React, Knockout, Web Components, etc.)
would be a plus
● Good understanding and practical knowledge of continuous integration/delivery methods
