Nosto is looking for a Head of Business Development to lead our Global Enterprise and International Markets!

As Head of Business Development, you will be part of a growing organization that works to build Nosto into a global leader in AI and personalization for online retail. You will report to the Global Head of Sales of Nosto, leading the global and international accounts team to drive new business relationships with global merchants.

We’re looking for an individual who can lead by doing, that can close opportunities while also building high caliber teams across multiple geographies that significantly contribute to the growth of the company. As such, you will be spearheading how we work with global enterprise merchants and enter new territories.

The location for this position can be in Berlin, New York or London..

Key Responsibilities

  • Help define the new business strategy for global enterprise and international accounts
  • Identify and build new market opportunities with rest of the enterprise and international team
  • Take full ownership of closing identified global retail brands and find ways to grow the market share of the company in new international regions
  • Build and close a pipeline of global key brands to use Nosto’s personalisation solutions
  • Quickly grasp brands’ issues and objectives and tailor sales strategy to them accordingly
  • Individual contributor in generating new business in our Enterprise Accounts segment
  • Recruit and manage key industry partners in new markets/regions, from system integrators (SI) to technology partners and ecommerce platforms.
  • Decide and work close with Technical Solution Managers, Partnerships team and the Head of local established regions
  • Maintain an active awareness of market trends and communicate these internally
  • Drive and achieve key market metrics within each team member
  • Onboard & train new Business Development and Customer Success Managers for the global team
  • Establish and maintain the strong Nosto culture

Who we are looking for

What we need from you

  • A deep knowledge of global ecommerce market
  • Proven ability to pursue and close new clients within the retail sector
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Fluent English

  • Over 5 years years experience in enterprise and international sales
  • Selling within the retail industry
  • Entrepreneur mindset with the ability to both think strategically and execute simultaneously
