Nosto is looking for a Head of Business Development - Nordics to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden!

As Head of Business Development, you will be part of a growing organization that works to build Nosto into a global leader in AI and personalization for online retail. You will report to the Global Head of Sales of Nosto, leading the nordic team to drive new business relationships with merchants across the nordic region.
We’re looking for an individual who can lead by doing, that can close opportunities while also building high caliber teams across multiple departments in the local market that significantly contribute to the growth of the company. As such, you will be spearheading how we work with nordic medium and large enterprise merchants and grow the market revenue month on month.
The location for this position is in Stockholm
Help define the ongoing business strategy for the nordic market
Take full ownership of the market by constantly finding ways how to grow the market share of the company
Build and close a pipeline of target key brands to use Nosto’s personalisation solutions
Quickly grasp brands’ issues and objectives and tailor sales strategy to them accordingly
Individual contributor in generating new business in both Mid-Market and Enterprise Accounts segment
Recruit and manage key industry partners in the region, from system integrator (SI) to technology partners and ecommerce platforms.
Decide and work close with Marketing Manager, Technical Solution Managers, Partnerships team and the Heads of local established regions to drive local and global initiatives
Maintain an active awareness of market trends and communicate these internally
Drive and achieve key market metrics within each team member
Onboard & train new Business Development and Customer Success Managers
Establish and maintain the strong Nosto culture
Join and participate in key industry events, to both grow brand awareness and new business
The Ideal Candidate
Over 5 years of SaaS sales experience, both Mid-Market and Enterprise segment (selling within the retail industry is a plus)
Entrepreneur mindset with the ability to both think strategically and execute simultaneously
A deep knowledge of global ecommerce market
Goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough, and tenacious
A winner mentality with positive approach to challenges in market building
Proven ability to pursue and close new clients within the retail sector
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong project management and organizational skills
Strategic thinker who can also get things done and contribute creative solutions to problems as they arise
Fluent in English and Swedish
Min. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or equivalent degree/experience
