Inside Sales Team Lead EMEA, based in Amsterdam

The Inside Sales Team Lead is responsible for managing, boosting and supporting our Inside Sales & Business Development Representatives and drives performance by effectively managing the team toward meeting and/or exceeding monthly objectives. 



Our CX Professionals will onboard you with all the required industry expertise to quickly be able to support our customers and their requirements. (It is a big plus if you already have experience/ knowledge about Retail, Services, Transportation and/or Healthcare industries.) While we will provide you with all the necessary tools, materials and support for you to get up and running as quickly as possible we will trust you to bring your team lead/ managerial skills into our operations actively: your core responsibility is to lead the team by focusing on coaching the individuals on sales effectiveness and opportunity qualification, productivity, time management, and meeting established activity objectives and quotas. 

Your tasks in a nutshell:

  • Be accountable for the team’s quota achievement on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Accountability to follow that required sales activities are met both in Inside Sales and BD teams to reach the goals.
  • Be an inspirational coach and leader to a highly motivated and ambitious sales team; develop them to be able to grow with the company
  • Provide regular 1to1 and group coaching sessions to support individual and team development e.g. by listening to calls and providing feedback and support
  • Work closely with the Field Sales teams as well as the VP EMEA by participating in regular meetings and QBRs; communicating weekly activities and achievements, sharing challenges and providing weekly/monthly reports
  • Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting essential for the effectiveness of the sales organization
  • Understand and maintain current knowledge on HappyOrNot services & solutions and encourage the sales team to share their knowledge proactively
  • Collaborate with Field & Digital Marketing to create campaigns, leads, and opportunities to meet company pipeline and sales goals; take part in events & conferences to grow brand awareness and visibility in our core markets. 
  • Keep informed on competitive services, promotional matter, sales techniques, pricing, and marketing policies to determine sales patterns and strategies. 
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement Manager to ensure an effective and timely onboarding for new hires, including systems, account alignment, and training


Success factors for the position:

  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in direct or inside sales management & operations: experience of transferring the team KPIs into revenue.
  • A positive, results-oriented, inclusive and team-player mentality.
  • Strong leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and business acumen to be able to coach, motivate and inspire your team to meet and exceed goals.
  • A proven track record of managing teams and understanding what is best for the team and the business. Experience working in SAAS business is a big plus.
  • Experience in developing effective business relationships with all levels of internal and external client management.
  • Experience in using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator & other prospecting tools and Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Understanding the importance of the cross-team collaboration with marketing and overall sales organization including Customer Success.
