Marketing automation consultant

Marketing Automation Consultants are key people in our projects, because in this role you are both the direct contact for customers and technology partners, as well as the internal main interface for our specialist teams. This makes the job demanding, but also fulfilling. We are therefore looking for consultants or specialists full-time with at least 3-5 years of experience and background in the areas of digitalization, marketing transformation and, above all, marketing automation in B2B environments.

The team

You would be joining a fairly new team consisting of ambitious and fun colleagues from different countries, in a start-up kind of atmosphere and a Scandinavian culture. Your colleagues are working with global customers in cross-border teams and are frequently part of the Avaus community - both online and offline. 

The role

In this position, you create appealing and personalized customer experiences and promote the results through marketing automation via digital channels. You conduct customer workshops, create workflows, use cases, personas, conduct marketing campaigns through different channels, analyze results, implement continuous A / B tests, and make suggestions for improvements that further our customers

You need this to succeed in your role:

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and fluent German
  • Experience in successful customer care and strong consulting and project management skills.
  • Excellent project management and analysis capabilities
  • Extensive experience with at least one of the marketing automation platforms of either Adobe (e.g., Campaign Manager) and / or Salesforce (e.g., Marketing Cloud or Pardot) and / or Marketo.
  • Additional knowledge of the entire market and additional tools, such as Hubspot or Eloqua are an advantage

If we were to add a monster wish list of things we think would be good to have, we'd think you were familiar with:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Experience with RESTful Services and APIs
  • Frontend development frameworks/libraries (e.g. jQuery, Bootstrap)

And that you were fairly familiar with:

  • Testing and Debugging
  • Git and Version Control Systems
  • CSS Preprocessors (SASS/LESS)

Super plus if you'd also have:

  • Basic Photoshop skills
  • Experience in SQL databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL)
  • JavaScript Frameworks
  • Experience from customer engagement marketing, digital marketing, email marketing
  • Previous experience with a Marketing Automation platform like Adobe Campaign, Hubspot, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Pardot or other.
