The focus of our Human, Robot and Mixed Reality team is on research, practical proof-of-concept development and experimentation. We apply XR solutions in interesting use contexts such as in projects with e.g. the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Finnish manufacturing industry. Now we are looking for Master’s thesis worker to join our team in Tampere.
Your main responsibilities will be to define and implement a modular system for XR applications to connect various systems (ROS, MQTT, Kafka, FIWARE etc.). The scope and extent of your thesis will be defined more in detail in cooperation with you.
You are a Master student with computer science educational background. Good knowledge of the following is essential: Unity3 and C#. We appreciate experience and knowledge regarding e.g. ROS, MQTT, Kafka and FIWARE. Working languages are Finnish and English so written and spoken English is required.
We hope that you are a team-player with good collaboration skills but you are also willing to work independently. We hope that you are precise and willing to learn new things.
