We are looking for a Sales & New Business Lead

Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will be working with sales development, outbound sales activities and building new business for Avaus. You are constantly in conversation with new stakeholders and decision makers and network across companies and industries fluently. At your side you have a whole team of experienced and talented experts to support you in detailed subject matter.
You are a driven individual, motivated by doing business and always focused on the customer's success. Feedback and dialogue in all directions will be an everyday task for you, as well as creating, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. You are intriqued by the opportunities data and technology have to offer and linking them to customers business problems is your cup of tea.

Understanding the customers needs, making point of views and managing to easily explain our sometimes rather complex offering, will be your main domain.

And in shorter terms, you will be:

  • Hunting new leads, booking meetings, opening new opportunities
  • Working closely with our commercial team closing deals
  • Aligning cross-organisation with account managers and subject matter experts
  • Developing a deep understanding (and passion!) for our offerings
  • Working with lead management developing Avaus CRM (Salesforce)

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic sales person to our team. To succeed in this role you will need to:

  • Have a proven sales record and an entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Have a can do attitude - pitch in where needed
  • Thrive in an ever changing environment
  • Communicate fluently in Finnish & English

What we require from you

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably within solution selling or/and consulting (selling tech & analytics is a plus)
  • Documented success from before
  • Some formal sales training, a plus not a requirement
  • Previous experience with working on performance based salary
  • A nose for new business opportunities
