We are now looking for an experienced and customer-oriented plastic material expert to interpret industrial signals and needs into actual commercial projects.
You will be working in our Material processing and circular solutions -research team, which focuses on development of industrially viable sustainable plastics and technologies for circular economy to generate value-added high performance products. As a Senior Scientist, you will have a key role in building our customer portfolio further and to co-innovating with industrial partners within plastic materials and applications value chains. Location of this postion is Espoo or Tampere.
Your target is to build solid customer portfolio on polymer development, processing, and recycling, which forms the basis for circular plastics. We are looking for a person who has a holistic view of operational environment, e.g., industry trends, regulations, and opportunities, and who will utilize this knowhow to co-innovate with industrial partners within plastic materials and applications value chains. Essential parts of the job are utilizing safe-by-design approach and up-scaling thermoplastic processing up to pre-production scale.
You will be working closely with our industrial partners as well as searching new opportunities and partnerships, especially among international stakeholders. Taking the lead in offering our R&D expertise and active participation in sales process to selected customer groups and industrial value chains will be part of the job. In addition, managing large projects under strict schedules and agreed targets is essential.
