Solutions engineer - Very Good Security - San Francisco

As a Solutions Engineer you will work with our largest and most strategic prospects on every step of the sales process. You will partner with Account Executives to turn prospects into successful, happy and long term customers. We want Engineers who love to think about hard problems and turn them into simple solutions.

What You'll Do:

    • Communicate with the customers regarding complex technical topics. You'll be the voice of the customer to engineering and the voice of engineering to sales and the customer
    • Propose, design, create, and present prototypes, demos, and proofs of concept to a wide variety of audiences, which include Marketing professionals and Engineers
    • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive product and business strategy
    • Collaborate closely with management and the rest of the Sales team to meet monthly and quarterly goals

What We Expect:

    • 2 or more years experience of relevant sales, post-sales, or technical experience, ideally in SaaS and/or Security 
    • Consistent over-achievement in past experiences 
    • Technically adept with experience in web technologies and API's
    • Technical ability. VGS is a technically complex product and you'll be talking with technical buyers so you must be comfortable in a technical environment
    • Willingness to take ownership and execute
    • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational ability
    • Readiness to work in a distributed team
