System Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud

We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist/ Superhero!

The team

You would be joining a fairly new team consisting of ambitious and fun colleagues from different countries, in a start-up kind of atmosphere and a Scandinavian culture. Your colleagues are working with global customers in cross-border teams and are frequently part of the Avaus community - both online and offline. 

Since you would be the first person with this competence in our German location, you have fantastic opportunities for an accelerated personal development and having a key role in positioning and growing our Salesforce knowledge in our DACH expansion. As your help, you will work closely with our experienced system specialists and consultants throughout the organization. Our cross-border Engagement technology team consists of best in class system specialists and developers, and is currently experiencing rapid growth.

The role

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and operate Salesforce Marketing Cloud for our clients
  • Develop, operate and optimise personalisation, campaigns and workflows
  • Expand Marketing Cloud usage including new Salesforce modules
  • Give insight and consultation on best practices for Marketing Cloud back-end and front-end functionalities
  • Drive business results trough insight and optimisation
  • Collaborative mindset and close cooperation with the client(s) partly at client premises

 

Who are we looking for

You take on challenges and love to find solutions to our customers' problems. You have the ability to grasp the larger context and understand how marketing automation can be integrated into the overall marketing landscape. You are able to act confidently in a fast paced environment and believe that "Done" is better than "Perfect". If you are a team player, like to do new things and act very fast, then we would like to get to know you better!

There are some hard skills you need to succeed in your role:

  • Fluent proficiency in German as working language
  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
  • Understanding of core Growth Hacking principles
  • 2+ years of experience in deploying and operating Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Marketing Automation domain expertise in general
  • Practical experience form Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience in Retail is a plus

If we were to add a monster wish list of requirements that we think would be good to have, we'd think you were familiar with:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Experience with RESTful Services and APIs
  • Frontend development frameworks/libraries (e.g. jQuery, Bootstrap)

And that you were fairly familiar with:

  • Testing and Debugging
  • Git and Version Control Systems
  • CSS Preprocessors (SASS/LESS)

Super plus if you'd also have:

  • Basic Photoshop skills
  • Experience in SQL databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL)
  • JavaScript Frameworks
  • Experience from customer engagement marketing, digital marketing, email marketing
  • Previous experience with a Marketing Automation platform like Adobe Campaign, Hubspot, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Pardot or other.
