Crowdmade is an early stage startup focused on helping YouTube creators connect with their audience and build their channels in a financially viable way. We currently offer a high-quality merchandise service, from design to production to customer support. In 2018 however, we’re focused on expanding beyond merchandise and launching audience engagement and growth tools for creators.
Working at Crowdmade will be an experience at a very lean startup. We currently design, sell and ship hundreds of thousands of items as a team of 4, so there’s plenty of meaningful work to go around. New employees will immediately have an impact on not only the biggest YouTube channels that we work with, but their hundreds of millions of fans as well.
This role will have a lot of impact when it comes to unifying Crowdmade’s aesthetic and defining our design language, and would be exposed to all areas of the business. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated, proven creative who wants the chance to lead an impactful company initiative. The role will have three main areas of responsibility:
1) Lead and implement a complete redesign of Crowdmade’s consumer facing assets. This will be the primary responsibility for the duration of this role. Assets to be redesigned include:
a) Shopify storefront
b) Internal client tools
c) Marketing materials
2) Work together with account management and contract designers to conceptualize and develop production level art for clientele.
3) Build marketing assets as needed to support client campaigns
These roles are currently based in Fremont (Bay Area California), but Crowdmade is expanding its offices to Los Angeles, CA. There will be an opportunity for this role to work in either location.
