Please note that this is a second-shift position, with working hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, designed to support our North America operations. The shift is required at least 2 times per week.

Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take on a senior role in a dynamic and collaborative environment? Join our Record to Report JE&Reporting&Inventory Team as a Senior Accountant, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting key financial operations across multiple entities.

What you will be doing:

• Operational Tasks: Independently process daily, monthly, and ad-hoc RTR activities according to PDO team assignment, including performing closing tasks in line with the group schedule.
• Proactive Task Management: Demonstrate a proactive approach to assigned responsibilities, ensuring timely issue identification and resolution.
• Audit Support: Assist with interim and year-end audits by preparing required documentation, providing data, and responding to audit queries.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with Financial Controllers to communicate, investigate, and resolve issues and discrepancies effectively.
• Process Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and update process documentation (e.g., Process Maps, DTPs) and ensure adherence to internal control procedures, company policies, and operating standards.
• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers, ensuring high-quality service and effective communication.\
• Team Support & Development: Support Junior R2R Accountants and Trainees by sharing knowledge and providing operational guidance.
• Process Improvement & Standardization: Identify and propose process improvement opportunities while contributing to global standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other accounting tasks and participate in projects as requested, while adhering to all internal AS and GBS employment regulations and policies.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience:
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Practical knowledge of accounting or audit processes.
  • Experience working with SAP Finance
• Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent task and time management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to work.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize effectively.
• Languages:
  • Very good written and spoken English.
• Education:
  • A background in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required.
