We are looking for an AI Architect for Elisa’s Data & Analytics team to strengthen our team.
As an AI Architect, you stand at the crossroads of software architecture, data engineering, and data science. You have a strong understanding of software design principles and can design overarching architectures where algorithms integrate seamlessly into existing legacy systems or entirely new systems. You bring a broad understanding of various systems, development patterns, and the ability to align software architecture with business strategy.
You understand that you are no longer just building software but systems of software. You recognize the common obstacles in your thinking and embrace the challenge of measuring success in an environment defined by complexity and uncertainty.

Your future team members are working around Finland, team´s home base is at Helsinki, Pasila. This position can be located at any Elisa office in Finland, if you are occasionally willing to travel to our HQ in Pasila. At this team we are following Elisa´s hybrid working policies.
What we expect from you:
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and data engineering principles
- Expertise in Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and natural language processing (NLP)
- Proficiency in prompt engineering, model evaluation metrics, and human-AI collaboration
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP/AWS/Azure) and containerization (e.g. Docker, Cloud Run, Kubernetes)
- Great SQL skills and basic understanding of data warehousing and lakehouses (e.g. BigQuery)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
We also appreciate if you have:
- Previous experience developing Gen AI Chatbots
- Background in natural language processing tasks
- Familiarity with MLOps and DevOps practises, including CI/CD pipelines for machine learning (e.g. Kubeflow Pipelines)
- Relevant certificates (e.g. Google Professional Cloud Architect)
