Evli’s Portfolio Management is looking for two Analysts to join the Emerging & Frontier team in Helsinki and Stockholm. The positions are permanent.   

Team

We are looking for two dedicated Analysts to join the Emerging & Frontier team within Evli Portfolio Management. This is a unique opportunity to join a specialized four-person unit managing the Evli Emerging Frontier Fund (~EUR 400m AUM). We invest in companies in the world’s most dynamic and overlooked economies. Read more about the fund here.
 

About the Position

You will not be tied to a desk. This role combines deep fundamental analysis with on-the-ground research. Key responsibilities include:

• Fundamental Research: Conduct analysis, financial modeling, and valuations of companies across emerging and frontier markets.
   
• On-the-Ground Due Diligence: Travel frequently to meet management teams face-to-face and visit operations.
   
• Content Creation: Write internal investment memos and contribute to external marketing materials (blogs, presentations, and market updates).
   
• Team Collaboration: Work closely between Helsinki’s and Stockholm’s office.
   

What We Look For

We are seeking for someone who is passionate about equity investing. You should be analytical, creative, and eager to dive deep into the weeds on individual companies. You also have:

• 2+ years in equity analysis
• University degree in Finance, Economics, or similar
• Advanced Excel. Proficiency in SQL and Python is a strong plus
• Open-minded, flexible, and willing to take ownership of your coverage
• A genuine willingness to travel regularly
• Fluent in English.
