Area Sales Manager, India
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager based in Bangalore to join our global sales force. In this role, we seek an energetic, proactive self-starter with solid communication skills and an established industry network to expand our market presence and drive growth across India. While Bangalore is our primary focus and strategic priority, this role covers the full Indian territory, requiring frequent travel to major cities across the country.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will have the autonomy to manage and execute sales strategies that contribute to our shared territory goals while representing Framery within the local market. Success in this role comes from leveraging existing professional relationships to nurture and support our established dealer network, the Architecture & Design (A&D) community, End Users, and Project Management. You will operate independently on the ground, collaborating closely with an international team of approximately 60 sales professionals globally, alongside dedicated support in logistics, technical, and customer success teams at our headquarters in Finland. You will be joining an established regional framework, working alongside our five existing Area Sales Managers located across Asia.
We are looking for:
Prior sales experience in the local office furniture market, with an understanding of Dealer, A&D, PMC and End User sales channels
An established industry network and existing professional relationships within the territory
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks independently
Team-oriented mindset, collaborating with internal and external partners to drive customer success
Ability to travel actively within the territory and occasionally to Finland or other locations for training and conferences
Based in Bangalore.

Compensation and practicalities:
The compensation for this role includes a base salary in addition to a bonus program. This bonus is tied to achieving our territory sales goals, with payouts assessed twice per year. Employment for this position will be formalized through our global Employer of Record partner. The preference for the candidate is to be based in Bangalore, with secondary locations in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
