Area Sales Manager, MDI

Join Wipak and become a key player in our dynamic Health sales team as our new
AREA SALES MANAGER
to maintain and grow our business and sales forces at areas of Scandinavia, Benelux, UK and Ireland in the Medical Device Industry (MDI). You will be a part of our global Health sales team and report to EMEA-CIS Sales Manager.
Your key responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic positioning and advancement of Sterile Barrier Systems sales within designated regions, including management of pricing, proposals, and tender procedures.
- Development of area-specific sales plans, strategies, budgets, forecasts, and customer contracts in alignment with Wipak Health's strategy.
- Proactive engagement with Wipak’s customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Launch new products and services to designated areas.
- Drive innovation in the market and within the organization.
- Network and influence in relevant professional environment.
- Building partner-like relationships with existing and potential customers on various levels (management, sales, production, technical, purchasing, customer service, marketing and logistics).
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of five years’ experience in B2B sales with a high level of customer interaction in a consultative selling role in an international organization. Expertise in sales management, contract management, and negotiation.
- Proven track record in B2B sales preferably in the Health sector in packaging (MDI, Pharma).
- Excellent communication skills in English are required. Additional language skills relevant to the sales responsibility area (such as Finnish, Dutch, Swedish or Norwegian) are considered an asset.
To succeed in this position, you have enthusiasm towards selling and target-driven mentality. We are looking for a well-communicating, sales and customer-oriented team player who has knowledge from the field of Medical Device Industry. You are trustworthy, consistent and have good organizational skills.
We are looking for a candidate preferably located in Finland. However, applications from candidates based in The Netherlands, UK, Sweden, or Norway are also welcome, as we have business units in these countries. This is a full-time, permanent position with the ability to travel extensively.
