Area Sales Manager

We are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to strengthen our food packaging sales forces in Benelux region. This is a perfect opportunity for sales-oriented person who enjoys working within a high quality, lean, customer-oriented, and challenging environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for further positioning and developing the existing sales, marketing, and after-sales structure in the region Benelux in accordance with Wipak strategy.
  • Sales and budget responsibility for the assigned region and customers, including margin management.
  • Representation of Wipak towards colleague’s, customers and business partners.
  • Contribute to the innovation and sustainability processes with our R&D community.
  • Network and influence in the full value chain.
  • People-oriented leadership skills and experience in coordinating the sales related activities.

To succeed in your future position you need to have

  • A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree plus several years of prior sales and marketing experience in the flexible packaging / food market.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • An independent, creative, yet structured and reliable way of working with strong competencies for building and sustaining long term client and colleague’s relations.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and product development preferably in the packaging industry (multilayer films, plastic products, labels, cardboard box etc.).
  • Target driven, enthusiastic and pro-active mindset.
  • Fluent language skills in Dutch and English languages. German language is an extra asset.
  • Willingness to travel - visiting customers is essential.
  • Living in the middle or the north of the Netherlands is a preference.
