Now we are looking for an AUTOMATION ENGINEER and a COMMISSIONING ENGINEER to join our team in Lahti, Finland.

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing automation solutions for surface treatment plants, each uniquely tailored to customer requirements. Your tasks include:

• Designing automation solutions for surface treatment plants
• Working closely with colleagues and customers to collect and convert requirements into detailed technical specifications
• Ensuring the successful execution of automation projects that meet customer needs, as well as quality, budget, and safety requirements
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for automation systems
• Offering technical support when needed

In this role, you will report to the Head of Automation and Electrical Department, and your office is located in Lahti. As the products are very specific, your presence is required onsite during the orientation. After that you can work flexibly hybrid. You will be expected to travel approximately 20 - 40 days yearly.

You are the person we are looking for if you have an educational background in automation engineering (bachelor’s or master’s degree) and extensive experience in the industrial manufacturing industry. A strong understanding of system-level PLC programming is required (Beckhoff environment is preferred, but experience with any other automation system is acceptable). Fluent English is required for this role, Finnish is considered as an advantage.

We are also hiring a Commissioning Engineer to work on PLC programming and commissioning of surface treatment plants at client sites. This is a junior-level role involving frequent travel. Educational background in automation engineering is required.
