About the role

In this role, you will

• Write high quality, maintainable application and AWS infrastructure code
• Perform peer reviews and participate in technical discussions both at the team level and product level
• Participate in internal and/or external developer communities
• Contribute to technical planning and backlog management
• Help investigate and resolve production issues
• Mentor and empower other people around you

About you

In our belief, we find the following characteristics important to succeed in the job.

• Experience. Several years of software development. You may have seen a lot, but still have the desire to learn something new. Our team is small, and you like the optionality it gives for possibilities to do things outside of the normal developer role.
• Web development. Programming languages are only tools, but you have most experience in the areas of PHP (Zend/Symfony), Node.js, TypeScript, React.
• Backend development. If needed, you can work also in the backend using PHP or Node.js. On databases, you understand the characteristics of relational and key-value databases, and have used MySQL or PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and others.
• Cloud Computing. Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, particularly AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CDK and RDS.
