Amer Sports Global Business Services is looking for an experienced Billing and Dispute Senior Specialist / Subject Matter Expert to join our Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) team.

Billing and Dispute Senior Specialist/ Subject Matter Expert plays a critical role within the Invoice-to-Cash (ITC) cycle and is a key member of the I2C Department. The Specialist will participate in the oversight of the full lifecycle of Accounts Receivable transactions, including billing, disputes, credits, and follow‑up activities. The Specialist will also be involved in the SAP S/4HANA implementation.Billi

The position requires close collaboration with internal teams to support accurate billing (invoicing and credit note creation), ensuring efficient resolution, and continuous process improvement. The Specialist will be involved in process review and further automation for ITC department.

Due to the control‑sensitive nature of these responsibilities, the Specialist/Expert will collaborate with the Team Leader and Manager to ensure SOX compliance of the process and controls, including monthly reconciliations, internal and external audits, and formal process walkthroughs.

Given the operational complexity and governance requirements, the minimum qualification for this role is an accountant-level background or equivalent professional experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate good understanding of Billing Process in SAP environment, Credit Notes creation & reconciliations of AR.

What you will be doing:

Billing & dispute management

• Overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of billing, credit notes, and dispute resolution within the I2C process
• Managing complex billing disputes and credit note requests in line with agreed SLAs
• Analyzing discrepancies, variances, and root causes related to invoicing and AR balances

Process ownership & improvement

• Acting as a subject matter expert for billing and dispute processes in a SAP environment
• Supporting process reviews, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement activities within the ITC department
• Cooperating closely with SAP IT, Tax, Credit, Collections, and Sales teams

Controls, compliance & audits

• Supporting SOX-compliant processes and controls, including reconciliations and process walkthroughs
• Participating in internal and external audits and supporting audit evidence preparation

Systems & tools

• Creating credit and debit notes, processing write-offs, and working daily in SAP
• Using smart platform tools such as Manual Invoice Request and Dispute Tool

What you need to succeed:

• Accountant-level background or equivalent professional experience
• Very good understanding of Billing and Accounts Receivable processes in a SAP environment
• Experience with credit note creation, dispute handling, and AR reconciliations
• Proven experience working in a SOX-controlled or audit-intensive environment
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an investigative mindset
• Solid working knowledge of Excel
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work effectively under time pressure and manage complex topics
• Proactive attitude, willingness to take initiative, and strong team-player mindset
• Ability to guide others, contribute expertise, and present improvement ideas in a project-oriented environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges with a critical and innovative mindset.
