BUSINESS CONTROLLER
Are you ready to step into a hands-on, high-impact finance role in a tech-forward manufacturing company?
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on BUSINESS CONTROLLER to join Premix in a pivotal role driving our financial performance. This role blends traditional finance responsibilities with modern tools and capabilities, including BI and AI development. You won’t just report numbers—you’ll translate data into decisions, partner with our business units, and drive continuous improvement with modern tools like BI and AI. You’ll ensure accurate statutory and management reporting, support business leaders with insights to drive performance, lead monthly closings, and drive forecasting and budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities in this role are:
Financial Controlling & Reporting
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements (IFRS)
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings and reporting
- Manage monthly Group consolidation process
- Analyze variances and deliver monthly management reports and insights
Business Partnering
- Partner with business units towards KPIs achievement
- Provide financial insights to support commercial decisions
- Support investment evaluations and business cases
Planning & Forecasting
- Execute annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models and scenario plans
BI, Data & AI
- Own and enhance BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Thinkcell, reports in NetSuite, etc.)
- Coach stakeholders on data use and visualization
- Develop and deploy AI-driven finance automation tools together with IT
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and internal policies
- Coordinate external audits
- Strengthen internal control frameworks and policies
Qualifications needed to succeed in the role:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in finance / business controlling roles / audit
- Statutory accounting & IFRS knowledge
- Power BI proficiency, strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in Finnish & English
- Considered as a bonus: Experience with NetSuite ERP or AI finance tools
