Nosto is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join our North American team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will have a key role in growing our business in one of our key regions. Your responsibilities will include mid-market and enterprise sales from conception all the way through signature and handoff. 

The primary focus for you will be on Nosto’s Search capabilities as well as Merchandising & Personalization products. You will sell predominantly into the retail sector. As Nosto grows into the premier CXP platform you will also learn to sell content products including User Generated Content (UGC) and pitching Non-Retail.

This role is heavily outbound focussed. Experience in hunting your own opportunities across all channels is a must. On top, you will work closely with our SDRs, technical team, partners, and customers to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences. 

Nosto’s network of partners and clients consists of a wide range of stakeholders in the field of eCommerce. To successfully perform your daily tasks as well as boost Nosto’s presence, it is important that you understand the roles of various stakeholders in the ecosystem, e.g. digital agencies, eCommerce platform vendors, software integrators, consulting houses, email service providers, and payment service providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate/qualify/close sales opportunities for Nosto with online retailers via face-to-face and online meetings

  • Build a network of industry contacts to deliver Nosto’s offering across all channels

  • Work on detailed market analysis and provide market feedback to the sales and tech team on a daily basis

  • Collaborate with SDR, Marketing and Partnerships teams to reach your targets

  • Participate in marketing activities together with Nosto’s in-house marketing team

  • Engage with top eCommerce platform vendors, software integrators, online agencies, consulting houses, and payment service providers in order to establish a business generation ecosystem

 Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in direct sales ideally in outbound focussed roles

  • Full funnel sales experience including prospecting, solution selling, negotiation, and closing/handoff

  • Experience in managing sales pipelines and a deep understanding of sales KPIs

  • Have worked with Salesforce CRM (or similar) and pride yourself on organization

  • 1-year Martech / SaaS experience ideally in pitching D2C eCommerce and retail prospects

Office location:

  • The candidate can be located in the New York City area. Nosto allows all employees the option to work from home (learn more about The Future of Work at Nosto here!) but you may be required to travel to a Nosto office for some team gatherings/meetings. A valid working visa to work in either of the locations.

Employment Information: 

  • Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

  • This role will have an additional bonus component in addition to the base salary.
