Business Development Representative

The role:
We are seeking a proactive and result-driven individual to join our sales unit as a Business Development Representative. As a key partner to our sales team in the Nordics, you will plan and execute inbound and outbound sales activities and actively follow up on marketing leads. Your expertise and collaboration at the initial stage of the sales funnel will be essential in helping the Nordic sales team achieve its sales targets and expand its customer base. To succeed in this role, we hope that you are goal-oriented with a hunter mindset and have excellent interpersonal skills. This is an exciting new position where you will have the unique opportunity to shape and influence its development from the very beginning and grow into a Sales Executive role over time. You will be based in our office in Espoo, Finland, and we offer flexibility for hybrid work.
Your responsibilities:
Seek and identify potential new customers with prospecting tools Cognism and Salesloft.
Contact customer prospects and set up sales meetings for the Nordic sales team.
Prepare customer presentations and occasionally lead the initial customer discovery calls.
Create and develop sales material.
Work in a systematic and organized manner to grow sales pipeline.
Report and keep up to date your sales activities in Salesloft and our Salesforce CRM.
Create sales forecasts from your pipeline with available sales data.
Coordinate and ensure smooth co-operation between customers and sales teams.
Take initiative and work collaboratively towards sales targets together with the Nordic sales team, as well as marketing and sales operations teams.

Base OTE €27,000 - plus a sales commission per booked meeting. The commission plan is uncapped and has accelerators.

Requirements:
Work experience: minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role with a proven track record in building a new business pipeline in B2B SaaS sales. Previous fintech industry experience is seen as an advantage.
New business sales: previous work experience in identifying and securing new business opportunities. Ability to efficiently co-operate with C-level executives, demonstrating a consultative and solution-sales oriented approach.
Technology proficiency: experience with sales CRM platform such as Salesforce and/or other equivalent sales CRM platforms. Previous experience from prospecting tools Cognism and Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator usage is seen as a plus.
Language skills: fluent English and Swedish (written and spoken). Knowledge of German or other Nordic languages is a plus.
