Business Lead Technology & Activation

Currently we are looking to strengthen our business with a business lead responsible for the development of our marketing technology and activation business.

As a business lead at Avaus your main priority is growing our business within marketing technology and campaigns (activation). You will be responsible for creating and executing on the business plan for growth within your business area, owning both sales and revenue targets for said area. You will be part of Avaus management team and in charge of building a successful team in the technology and activation space, supported by team leads and managers.

You have in-depth knowledge and expertise in marketing technologies and the capabilities created as well as business acumen and a strong commercial drive. You are a go to person for tech advisory and a role model among your peers.

In addition to business growth you’ll be key to Avaus efforts to drive organizations’ digital transformation, helping them become customer centric and supporting them in future proofing their capabilities. You will be responsible for clarifying and finding solutions to our clients’ challenges, and providing them with tangible business results. As a person, you have a strong commercial drive and you are curious and constantly pushing your limits. You are a people person and passionate about data, algorithms and customer experience as well as marketing and sales. You really want to challenge the status quo and get people to see their business in a new light. In addition to high impact PowerPoints you enjoy driving the change and seeing the business results of your work in practice. You probably have at least 3-10 years of experience in management consulting or in a similar role.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Commercial development in the business area, meaning both new business development and existing account growth
  • Part of Swedish management team
  • Team and capability building:
    • Proactively participate in Avaus culture and its shaping and development
    • Participate in building a growth mindset and culture within the organisation
  • Subject matter expertise development
    • Actively seek opportunities to deepen expertise in named area
    • Thought leadership around the selected topic, both internally and externally 

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor´s or Master’s degree (e.g. business, technology or similar)
  • 3+ years of experience from business development and commercial engineering
  • 3+ years of hands on experience from data / technology and marketing activation consulting 
  • Ability to act in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines on time & budget
  • Fluent in Swedish, proficient in English, other languages a plus 
  • Proven track record within sales
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Team player mindset
