Nosto is hiring a Business Development Manager - Non-Retail

As Business Development Manager - Non-Retail you will have a key role in growing a new product in one of our key regions. Your responsibilities will include mid market and enterprise sales from conception all the way through signature and handoff. The primary focus is on Nosto’s User Generated Content (UGC) products but you will also learn to sell Nosto’s wider Experience Optimization platform. The focus for this role will be to source, using your own outbound efforts and the support of our SDR team, and develop larger opportunities with higher ACV outcomes. You will liaise primarily with VP, CMO, CEO, and Director level prospects and be comfortable and experienced at strategic and complex sales. You collaborate naturally with team members from SDR, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, CSM, TSM, and more. On top, Nosto’s network of partners and clients consists of a wide range of stakeholders in the field of ecommerce and non-retail. To successfully perform your daily tasks as well as boost Nosto’s presence, it is important that you understand the roles of various stakeholders in the ecosystem, e.g. digital agencies, eCommerce platform vendors, software integrators, consulting houses, email service providers and payment service providers.


  • Build a strong pipeline of UGC opportunities in non-retail including outbound prospecting

  • Build a network of industry contacts to deliver Nosto’s offering across all channels

  • Collaborate with SDR, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to reach your targets

  • Participate in marketing activities together with Nosto’s in-house marketing team

  • Engage with top eCommerce platform vendors, software integrators, online agencies, consulting houses and payment service providers in order to establish a business generation ecosystem



  • 3 years experience in direct sales ideally in outbound focussed roles with at least 1.5 years in selling UGC

  • Full funnel sales experience including prospecting, solution selling, negotiation, and closing/hand off

  • Experience in managing sales pipelines and a deep understanding of sales KPIs

  • Have worked with Salesforce CRM (or similar) and pride yourself on organization
