Jänkä Resort opens for the Christmas season 2025.

Jänkä Resort is located in the heart of untouched nature in Ylläs, offering guests a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature in a new way.
Ylläs is a year-round travel destination in Lapland, where serene wilderness meets the services of a ski resort.

Chef’s role at Jänkä Resort

For us, being a chef is much more than cooking – it’s about creating experiences, surprising guests with details, and making moments meaningful.

The work focuses mainly on à la carte dining, but we value versatility and an open attitude towards taking on other kitchen tasks when needed.

Employment details:

• Start: approx. 15 November 2025

• Duration: until the end of the winter season, approx. 30 April 2026

• Possibility for a longer-term contract

You are the person we are looking for if you:

• Have a passion for cooking and want to provide memorable, high-quality experiences to every guest

• Have at least 2 years of experience/education as an à la carte chef

• Work with pride and can perform well as part of a team, even under pressure

• Pay attention to details

• Speak fluent English

• Hold a valid hygiene passport and health certificate for food workers
