Civil Supervisor – Wind Farm Construction Projects Finland

We are currently looking for experienced and motivated Civil Supervisors to join several major wind farm construction projects in Finland.

The first assignments are expected to commence during late 2026 and early 2027, offering an excellent opportunity to join large-scale renewable energy projects during the early construction phase and contribute throughout project execution. Based on current project schedules, civil works are among the first activities to begin on site, making this a key role within the project organization. 

As a Civil Supervisor, you will work closely with the Site Manager and construction team to oversee daily civil construction activities, monitor contractor performance, ensure quality execution, support HSE requirements, and help deliver the project safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities on site. [
• Ensure civil works are executed in accordance with project specifications and requirements. 
• Monitor contractor progress and performance. 
• Support Site Manager and Construction Project Manager in project delivery. 
• Monitor contractor QA/QC and HSE performance at field level. 
• Participate in inspections, reviews, and quality control activities. 
• Support risk identification, mitigation planning and follow-up during the construction phase. 
• Review cBoP and Substation Civil Works during construction. 
• Participate in design reviews and contractor meetings. 
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, electrical, substation and turbine construction activities.

• Civil construction quality inspections

Requirements

Essential

• BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience supervising civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site execution.
• Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and coordination skills. 
• Good planning and problem-solving abilities. 
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills. 

Considered an Advantage

• Wind farm construction experience. 
• Experience with road construction, foundations, substations or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of contractor QA/QC processes.
• Experience in owner's engineer or client-side supervision roles.
