We now recruit – Cloud Platform Lead 

In this role, you will support the growth of Elisa Industriq’s business and lead a talented team managing the Elisa Industriq Finland cloud platform. 

As Cloud Platform Lead, you’ll take on a dual mission: 

• Lead and empower the team responsible for the cloud platform of Elisa Industriq Finland. You also act as the key link between the central Industriq IT team and the local Elisa Industriq Finland business in relation to IT and cybersecurity topics 

• Design and build the future – spearhead the development of a next-generation cloud platform to host cloud products for all Elisa Industriq companies globally 

You’ll work in an international, dynamic matrix environment, collaborating with Industriq IT, business teams, and Elisa Group IT. This position is based in Finland with regular visits to Tampere. 

Your Main Responsibilities Are: 

• Lead the team managing Elisa Industriq Finland’s cloud platform, ensuring operational excellence, and continuous improvement 

• Ensure platform reliability and security, jointly managing risk and information security activities with the central security function 

• Jointly with the team members of Industriq IT team, drive cloud innovation by designing and building the next-generation platform for hosting SaaS products across all Elisa Industriq companies 

• Act as the key IT partner towards Elisa Industriq business unit, translating business needs into secure, scalable IT solutions and ensuring seamless cooperation between business and IT 

• Collaborate internationally with Elisa Group IT and global Industriq teams 

To succeed in this position, the following is required: 

• 5+ years of experience in cloud platform management, preferably in Azure 

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing IT or cloud engineering teams in an international/matrix organization 

• Hands-on expertise in Azure services (architecture, deployment, monitoring, optimization) 

• Strong understanding of SaaS operations (scalability, reliability, performance) 

• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation) 

• Solid grasp of information security principles, risk management, and compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR) 

• Business acumen: understanding of customer focus, financials, and resource planning 

• Solid skills in English and Finnish (written and spoken) 

The work effort is further supported by: 

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Google, Oracle). 

• Ability to produce clear, visually appealing documentation 

• Personal traits: curious, business-minded, structured, positive, excellent communicator 

• Experience in a software company and exposure to scale-up or consolidation phases 

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience 

• Willingness to travel
