Corporate Strategy Intern (6 months)

Kickstart your career as a Corporate Strategy Intern at Amer Sports! In this role, you will support the Corporate Strategy team in delivering key initiatives that drive business performance and strategic growth. You will gain hands-on experience in market and competitive analysis, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with business units and brands across Amer Sports. Working closely with senior leaders, you will develop exposure to how a corporate strategy function shapes priorities, allocates resources, and supports decision-making in a New York-listed, global multi-sport, multi-category company. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates seeking to strengthen analytical, communication, and business skills in a dynamic environment.
What you will be doing:
- Assist in market intelligence studies, researching industry trends, competitors’ performance, and consumer insights to support decision-making processes.
- Support brand performance management by collecting and synthesizing key data on performance indicators across business units.
- Participate in cross-functional project management tasks, helping to coordinate or drive transformation projects and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare executive-ready materials by developing presentations, dashboards, and concise summaries for management meetings
What you need to succeed:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related field.
- Prior working experience, ideally in Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Consumer Product Industry, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data to generate insights.
- Basic understanding of market research techniques and competitive analysis.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to learn and contribute to the team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong English communication skills required, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Personal interest in sports and outdoor activities.
