About the role

DS Smith is now hiring our next Creative Lead for our PackRight Center in Finland, who will work closely with the Cluster & Innovation Manager. This person will oversee the innovation agenda in Finland and will manage the creative processes. A big part of this position is leading customer projects and developing a deeper understanding regarding the sales process and customer needs. Furthermore, you will work together with Sales, Marketing, Commercial and Operations towards improving design awareness and optimizing packaging solutions.

In this role you will be an ambassador for our PackRight Center while working on the frontline with design, sustainability and legislation. To achieve this, you ensure active communication and sharing of skills and best practice with other Designers and Innovation Teams. You thrive in social situations connecting with existing/prospective customers and enjoy taking part in operational workflow with daily tasks.

This full-time position is based in Tampere, with travels between sites to be expected.

 

About you

  • Experience and proof of design work and tools (E.g. CAD)
  • Experience and proof of leadership
  • Professional communication skills in Finnish and English (Oral and writing)
  • Innovative and proactive mindset
  • Relevant degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience within similar industry is required.
