CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR

You play a central role in supporting daily customer service operations, ensuring accurate order processing, and enabling smooth coordination across sales, logistics, and supply chain functions. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely communication, reliable delivery processes, and high service quality. You will contribute to forecasting, inventory coordination, and operational excellence while supporting continuous improvement in our customer service processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage customer service activities, including sales order creation in SAP, confirmations, and customer communication
  • Support customer meetings and assisting in new SKU creation
  • Handle purchase orders, stock control activities, and support mid-term forecasting (up to 6 months)
  • Manage import processes, including preparation of customs documentation and coordination with forwarders and warehouses
  • Support goods receipt processes and maintaining accurate batch and shipment information
  • Handle quality claims, including notification creation and credit note processing
  • Manage subcontracting processes in SAP, including purchase orders, goods movements, and postings
  • Prepare and distribute monthly invoice reports to customers
  • Support inventory checks by monitoring stock quantities and values
  • Participate in supply chain meetings and ensuring information flow between stakeholders

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in customer service, order management, or supply chain coordination
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes and international logistics
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP
  • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment
  • Fluent spoken and written Japanese and English

Additionally, it’s an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Knowledge of import/export processes and customs documentation

This full‑time position is located in Yokohama City in Japan. We value flexibility, and hybrid work is also possible.
