To strengthen our team, we are now looking to hire a highly motivated and enthusiastic Data Integration and AI Intern to join our Helsinki office.
The Role
Working as an Intern, you will have a great opportunity to learn and grow with us as we embark on our journey into the AI domain, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch digital solutions. You will assist in integrating diverse data sources, developing AI tools, and configuring business applications. Additionally, you will be involved in various entry-level tasks that are essential to our operations, providing a well-rounded experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in designing and implementing data integration and ETL processes to consolidate and streamline data from various sources.
- Support the development and maintenance of AI tools that enhance our data analysis and decision-making capabilities.
- Help configure and develop existing business applications to support various functions within the organization.
- Participate in research to identify emerging trends and technologies in the AI domain.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the integration process.
- Perform a variety of foundational tasks that support the team's overall objectives.
Who we are looking for
You are at the later stage (Bachelor's degree completed or close to completion) in your academic career in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
To be successful in this role we believe that you would have experience and knowledge of the following areas of expertise:
- Basic understanding of data integration, ETL tools, and SQL databases.
- Programming skills or coursework in relevant programming languages.
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Knime is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of the Azure platform.
- Interest in AI and machine learning frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends.
- Fluency in English (fluency in Finnish considered an advantage).
- Familiarity with private equity is an asset.
What matters most to us is that you are ready to take on challenges and are eager to show your skills. The position is full-time and fixed-term until December 2025 starting as soon as possible during the spring. We are flexible with the exact starting time and duration of the internship.
