Your mission? 🚀 

As our Director, Engineering, you'll lead an engineering organization of approximately 80-90 professionals, including 7 direct reports, and play a key role in transforming product strategy into scalable, high-quality software solutions. 

Together with Product and Architecture leadership, you'll drive engineering excellence, strengthen our technical capabilities, and help build the next generation of HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions with AI embedded at the core. 

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Leading and developing Engineering Managers and engineering leaders 

• Defining and executing engineering strategy together with Product and Architecture leadership 

• Driving high-quality, predictable, and efficient software delivery 

• Building a high-performing engineering culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement 

• Improving engineering performance through data-driven leadership 

• Driving technology modernization and adoption of modern engineering practices 

• Aligning engineering execution with business goals and product roadmaps 

• Partnering closely with Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Business Leadership teams

• You have experience leading larger software engineering organizations and engineering leaders 

• You have successfully led organizational transformation, scaling, or modernization initiatives 

• You are a strong people leader who builds trust, accountability, and engagement 

• You know how to balance business priorities with technical excellence 

• You use data and metrics to drive performance and decision-making 

• You have solid experience with SaaS products, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices 

• You understand how AI can create value within software and product development 

• You are an excellent communicator with both technical and business stakeholders 

• You are fluent in Finnish and English
