Director, Group Financial Controlling - Oriola Plc

We are now looking for a Director, Group Financial Controlling to take overall responsibility for Group financial reporting and to further develop Oriola’s financial controlling and reporting operations.

About the position

As Director, Group Financial Controlling, you will be responsible for Oriola Group’s external accounting, financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring high-quality, timely and reliable financial information. The role combines strong IFRS expertise, a development-oriented mindset and the ability to lead and develop an international finance team, which consists of 20 accounting professionals.

You will play a key role in driving Oriola’s financial accounting routines and development agenda, especially related to reporting processes, financial systems and the ongoing ERP transformation. You will report to Oriola’s CFO and act as a member of the Finance Lead Team.

Personal and experience requirements

You empower and trust your team, delegating responsibility and providing support.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Strong expertise and preferably more than 10 years of experience in external accounting, group consolidation and reporting
• Strong experience in developing accounting and reporting
• IFRS experience
• Experience in project and change management
• Leadership experience including experience from developing finance teams

Experience considered an advantage:

• Experience from a listed company or a large matrix organization
• Experience from IT system/tools development projects
• SAP experience

Other requirements

• Relevant university degree (e.g. M.Sc. in Economics) or equivalent competence gained through extensive work experience
• Excellent spoken and written Finnish and English

Terms of Employment

• This is a full-time position, and we want you to start during Q2/2026, at the latest during Q3/2026
• This position is based in Espoo, Finland (hybrid work model available)
• The selected person will undergo a drug test and a standard security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act, which is a prerequisite for the establishment of an employment relationship.
