We are looking for an Early childhood education practical nurse to temporary position to Pilke Playschool Meilahti Schoolroom center in Helsinki.

Playschool Meilahti Schoolroom is a multicultural daycare centre, located in the centre of Helsinki on Kallioportaankatu  with good transport connections. The daycare centre has space for 28 children. We provide additional early education for the children atteding The English school preprimary. We have part time grous; 2 X 14 children in the mornings and 2 X 14 children in the afternoons

The daycare centre’s activities emphasise children‘s creativity, play, multiculturalism and participatory learning.

We expect you to apply working methods based firmly on pedagogic principles, to have a positive and active attitude, good interaction skills and the ability to encounter children genuinely. To be qualified for the position, you must have completed an applicable basic education degree in social services and health care (a children’s instructor or practical nurse degree including a programme in children’s and youth education and care) or another corresponding degree, such as a childcarer or childminder degree. The selected candidate shall present to the employer a criminal records extract within the meaning of Section 6 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
