Do you thrive on bringing clarity into complex environments, shaping enterprise‑level ways of working, and driving real impact across multiple IT domains?

At Finago, we’re setting a new standard for financial & human resources software across the Nordics. Our mission? To become the most customer-centric business software company out there. To succeed in our goal, we’re now looking for an Enterprise IT Transformation & Portfolio Lead to help us make it happen.

Your mission? 🚀

As our Enterprise IT Transformation & Portfolio Lead, you’ll take ownership of cross‑IT initiatives that cut across domains. You’ll bring structure, transparency, pace and clarity to how we operate across IT — enabling scalable practices, enterprise‑level alignment and a coherent technology landscape.

This is a senior individual contributor role where you act as the right hand to our Enterprise IT leadership in topics that span multiple teams and countries. You won’t “just coordinate”, you’ll make things happen, turning ambiguity into structure and delivering real execution impact.

💡 Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

Hands-on leadership for cross‑IT key initiatives

  • Lead selected enterprise‑level initiatives and integrations end to end (e.g. IT PMI activities during M&A).

  • Drive execution pace by structuring collaboration, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring measurable progress.

Enable and harmonize enterprise IT ways of working

  • Develop and implement shared IT operating model elements, governance practices, documentation standards and ITSM alignment - both practically available in the tools (Jira+Conflu) as well as change management and enablement to make models live and ensure impact.

  • Define and improve cross‑team processes for clarity, predictability and consistent execution across IT.

  • Bring structure into areas that have become siloed or lack clear ownership.

Enterprise portfolio transparency & dependency management

  • Own the cross‑function initiative portfolio, ensuring visibility of dependencies, business value, risks and prioritization. Develop common standards and tools, periodically report status of portfolio.

  • Own, develop and maintain an enterprise‑level application portfolio and related governance processes including lifecycle, integrations, clear ownership of applications, compliance and security alignment.

  • Provide a coherent view of the full IT technology landscape and its cross‑dependencies, in close collaboration with area architects.

  • Build and maintain frame for high‑quality enterprise IT documentation and related governance. Build capabilities in tools and facilitate and collaborate across IT team and joint vendors to follow the frame and related guidelines.

Act as the integrator across domains

  • Operate confidently in a matrix and influence without formal authority.

  • Bring stakeholders together to create shared rules of engagement, clear roles and unified direction.

  • Address friction constructively and systematically — the role often sits between different domains and perspectives.

You work independently with a high level of trust and autonomy, while maintaining strong visibility toward both IT and business leadership. This is a full‑time and permanent position. The role can be located in Espoo, Oslo or Stockholm.

💎 “My time at the company has provided me with valuable experiences and opportunities to learn in a supportive environment. I’ve also gotten to know a bunch of great people along the way.” – Jaakko Kuurne, Data Scientist

Ready to make an impact? 💥

We’re looking for a senior professional who thrives on building clarity, structure and momentum across IT. To succeed in this role:

  • You live and breathe business impact, for you the outcome and value it creates are more important than the tasks or framework

  • You have experience from senior cross‑domain enterprise IT roles (e.g. enterprise/solution architecture, IT transformation, integration lead, operating model lead, senior product/program roles, senior lead role at the intersection between IT and business).

  • You already utilize AI capabilities daily bases to boost up both your productivity as well as delivering the impact

  • ou are a doer – it is natural for you to roll up your sleeves and make things happen. You are comfortable creating materials, analyses and models yourself, taking work from initial framing all the way through practical implementation in systems to delivered value.

  • You have a strong background for change management and proof of making different models really sit in organization as normal operating models.

  • You can influence without formal authority and operate confidently with senior stakeholders

  • You are comfortable working without team officially reporting to you and can make things happen by influencing individual contributors in matrix organization.

  • You have strong systems thinking and can simplify complexity without oversimplifying.

  • You work pragmatically, stay calm under pressure, and bring structure to ambiguity.

  • You communicate clearly in spoken and written English; Nordic languages are an advantage.
