Field Support Technician, US
Do you enjoy hands-on work and interacting with people? Are you someone who has a knack for getting things done with your hands and a willingness to explore new places? If yes, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for a proactive and technically inclined Field Support Technician to join our team in the US. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for Framery's installation partners and dealer networks across North America, offering hands-on and remote support for product installations, troubleshooting and field-based training.
You will work independently within a team that operates across time zones, with headquarters support from Finland. Your day-to-day includes guiding installers through setup processes, training stakeholders, helping sales teams with technical needs and ensuring that every Framery solution in the field meets our standards of quality and function.
The position is remote-based and travel is a significant part of the job - you can expect to be on the road frequently. Ideally, you're based in one of the following states: New York, North Carolina, Georgia, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, Colorado, California or Utah - locations that offer strong geographic coverage and access to our key partner regions. Whether you’re helping train a partner's crew, overseeing a large installation, or solving a hardware challenge on-site, your presence and expertise will make all the difference.
What makes you a great fit?
You’re someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and has a collaborative spirit. You’re comfortable communicating with installers, salespeople, and customers alike. You’re a problem-solver at heart - flexible, solution-oriented and able to work independently across a broad region. Prior field experience with frequent travelling gives you the confidence to tackle challenges head-on.
We’re looking for:
- Work experience in technical or installation roles with client interaction
- Practical understanding of basic electronics and hardware (e.g., HDMI, USB, electrical adjustments)
- Proficient English skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within North America (up to 50%)
Additional Assets:
- Experience in furniture or office equipment installation
- Familiarity with service partner models
- Background in supporting or training others in installation or technical setups
- Exposure to remote technical support practices and tools
- Spanish language skills
