Therefore, we’re looking for a Financial Controller to join our team of finance professionals in Tampere. In this role you will take a key role for our U.S. and Canada operations accounting, taxation and reporting. You will also be responsible for managing the business insurance overview for all legal entities within the Framery Group. This includes monitoring appropriate insurance coverage and ensuring that all policies are up to date. You cooperate actively with your fellow Financial Controllers supporting each other in different questions and matters on a daily basis. As a Financial Controller you are an expert in financial processes in an international business environment, you know your debit and credits, and you have a process development approach in finance day to day work. Daily operations and continuous development are your bread and butter, and you enjoy the challenges of solving riddle type of complex questions. You are proud to call yourself a finance professional!

We expect you to bring to our team your accounting and tax experience from a global business environment combined with a track record of finance process development in the form of automation, simplification of ways of working and/or getting rid of manual work. We are looking for a team player with skills to find a way out of any situation. Our dream team member is an analytical team player and problem solver who is interested in business and processes with good communication and interpersonal skills. If you have experience in Avalara system or working with business insurances, these will be considered an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you have excellent spoken and written skills in English. You also hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in business or finance supported by work experience for some years already. We are working on a hybrid model, still hoping to see you at the office roughly on a weekly basis.
