We are now looking for a Financial Director for Maventa. This is a new role as Maventa is undergoing a spinoff from Visma Solutions to be its own legal entity in Visma Group.  As the Financial Director you will assume a strategic role in the overall financial management of the company. You will be a key member in the management team and report to the Managing Director of Maventa. 

Key responsibilities:

• You will have the overall responsibility for Maventa Oy finances and financial administration. This includes:
• Working with the Managing Director and management team to develop and carry out financial strategy and overall strategic plans for the company
• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting internally and for 3rd parties
• Monitoring and developing key performance indicators and SaaS financial metrics. Identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborating with product, sales and marketing in aligning financial plans with business objectives.
• Designing and developing monthly reporting dashboards and management reports.
• Leading the admin team (1-2 people) with a coaching attitude, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Managing accounting & payroll outsourcing partner
• Rewarding policy management

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Solid background in financial controlling and management.
• Relevant experience from similar positions, working in SaaS is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of business intelligence, data and data analytics 
• Ability to think strategically and create strategic insights from financial data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•  Driven “can do” mentality, you take action when needed.
• Ability to develop new processes and ways of working in regards to finance

As tools, we use Netvisor for accounting, LookerStudio for BI, and Goodsign for billing. Prior experience on these tools is not necessary.

We work in a hybrid setting and have an office in Helsinki (Tripla). Working from other remote locations in Finland, such as Tampere or Lappeenranta, is negotiable.
