Nosto is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for our North American Team
The Full Stack Engineer is part of the Onboarding and CSM team of North America and a direct on-the-ground liaison for the Helsinki based Engineering Team. The role is designed to support the US market in regards to high level technical matters in enterprise clients. The engineer will be the resource our Senior Solutions Managers, including trained frontend engineers, will escalate their most critical and complex issues to. Customer interaction is part and parcel of the role.
In the role the main responsible is solving the highly advanced retail use cases of Nosto’s growing customer base. This includes a wide array of duties including but not limited to developing custom vertical specific personalization solutions during implementations, customizing Nosto’s default platform integrations, deploying Nosto in headless/PWA environments, integrating Nosto using the API family into third party systems as well as debugging highly complex issues once live. You will be frequently working within the Shopify, Magento, Bigcommerce and custom ecommerce platforms. As an intermediary between the developer team located in Helsinki, Finland and the US customer base, you will be able to access and debug Nosto platform code and prepare code for deployment. As such, not just frontend but also backend skills are important including Java and PHP.
Technical Onboarding support for highly customized Nosto implementations
Real time debugging of critical issues with enterprise client base
Sales Engineer/discovery duties during sales process
Development of technincal integrations with strategic partners such as email, loyalty, analytics and other ecom SaaS platforms
Support product launches
Ideally hands-on ecommerce experience within various platforms including Shopify, Magento, Bigcommerce
You’ve shipped software, ideally longer than 2 years or personal projects showing your hands-on experience. You should have production experience with a nice bit of our stack: Java, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, AWS, etc. and for the parts you don’t have, you’re excited to learn
Proficiency in with a frontend framework such as React, Vue or an equivalent framework
Inclination to follow good development practices like test automation, CI/CD, source version control, dependency management, etc.
