Netvisor already serves around 40 000 users in Finland, 110 000 payslips are created and over 1 million invoices are sent monthly through Netvisor. The product is built to ease the daily work of entrepreneurs, accountants and employees by automating many of the tedious financial processes like handling vouchers, invoicing and payroll.

What to expect when you join us?

We are now looking for an experienced developer to join a team that works on the renewal of Netvisor Payroll. This team currently consists of six in-house developers and two consultants and is supported by designers and architects. Our developers play a key role in the modernization and continuous development of our products. We value responsibility and freedom, so our teams make a lot of important and independent product development related decisions in their daily work. Our culture is very sparring and encouraging and we share our knowledge. Teamwork is important to us - we believe that several people often solve bigger challenges faster than one.

On a more technical note, our current backend stack consists of C# .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, asynchronous programming, REST API, GraphQL, and more. Frontend stack includes React, TypeScript, Zod, i18next, Vite, TanStack Query, etc. In testing we use NUnit, NSubstitute, Bogus, and Playwright.

Our hopes for our new colleague

In order to succeed in this role, you should have a few years of experience in fullstack development in the following areas:

• Expertise in React, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core and .NET Core/.NET 5+.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Competence in writing and maintaining tests (see our Test Stack above; MSTest, xUnit, or Moq is appreciated).

In addition, you should have:

• Proactive "can and will do" attitude. While seniority is not a priority, the ability to get things done efficiently and effectively is important. 
• Great team player skills with a keen social eye in different situations.
• Fluent communication skills both in written and spoken English.

As nice to have, but not at all necessary, we would find it an asset if you have previous experience in payroll systems or from a highly regulated industry. It’s also very helpful if you have experience with cloud-native or Kubernetes applications and AWS, or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git. We use GitHub for code repository/version control, and GitHub actions and ArgoCD for CI/CD.

Although we're connected throughout the day, we don't physically sit close to each other, so we don't expect you to either. However, we would like you to occasionally visit your team mates at our offices in either Helsinki or Lappeenranta.

The salary range in this position is difficult to estimate as it can be anything between 4000-6000 €/month depending on your relevant experience and seniority, but we are happy to hear your expectations.
