Fund Management Specialist
Are you interested in developing your skills in fund management and contributing to CapMan's growth story?
The Fund Management team is now looking for a new addition in the role of Fund Management Specialist. Our team's task is to support CapMan's various business units in diverse fund management and reporting tasks, and we are now seeking a new person to join our experienced team in a permanent position. In our team, you will learn the operational logic of both domestic and foreign closed and open fund structures and work with several investment teams at CapMan.
As part of our team, you will be involved in various back- and middle-office tasks, including NAV calculation, fund reporting, cash management, regulatory reporting, accounting guidance and supervision, tax matters, and execution of investment transactions. You will also participate in the development of tools and processes and the maintenance of the fund management system regarding fund and investment data.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role we believe that you would have the following qualifications, skills, and interests:
- Degree (e.g., Bachelor of Business Administration) in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Work experience in fund back- or middle-office operations, accounting, or financial management
- Good skills in MS Office tools, especially Excel
- A systematic, analytical, and precise working approach
- Interest in process development and utilizing automation
- Excellent teamwork skills, but also the ability to work independently and proactively
You may already have some previous work experience in similar tasks or be taking your first steps in your career. We hope you have an understanding of fund management and are curious to learn more and grow into a fund management professional. You have a systematic and precise working approach and quickly take initiative. Experience in managing special investment funds ("Erikoissijoitusrahasto") is considered an advantage. You can work fluently in both Finnish and English, as you will regularly be in contact with colleagues, clients, and partners in different countries.
