Drive the Electrical Delivery of Large-Scale Wind Farms

We are currently looking for experienced and motivated Grid Managers to join our growing project organization supporting several major wind farm construction projects in Finland.

As a Grid Manager, you will be responsible for leading the electrical delivery of the wind power plant from design through energization, ensuring that all electrical systems are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements and grid connection obligations. You will play a vital role in coordinating interfaces between electrical balance of plant (eBoP), substations, overhead lines, transformers, turbine suppliers, consultants, and grid operators.

This is an excellent opportunity for electrical engineering professionals who want to contribute to some of Finland's most significant renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the electrical project from design phase to energization. 
• Coordinate interfaces between eBoP, substation, OHL, transformer and WTG contracts. 
• Manage electrical design reviews and approval processes. 
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements and contractual obligations.
• Lead and coordinate Grid Code Compliance activities. 
• Coordinate communication between contractors, consultants, turbine suppliers, Fingrid and other stakeholders. 
• Review electrical, substation, transformer and relevant OHL documentation. 
• Monitor contractor progress, performance and QA/QC compliance. 
• Support construction and commissioning teams throughout project execution. 
• Organize technical reviews, inspections and project meetings. 
• Ensure high HSSE standards are maintained within the assigned scope. 

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 
• Strong experience in electrical infrastructure, renewable energy or industrial projects.
• Experience with substations, medium voltage systems, grid connections or power transmission infrastructure.
• Understanding of grid studies and grid code compliance processes.
• Experience managing technical interfaces between multiple contractors.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and planning capabilities. 
• Fluent English language skills.

Considered an Advantage
