GROUP DEMAND PLANNER

The Group Demand Planner is responsible for creating, consolidating, and developing the monthly demand plan across Wipak Group. This role is pivotal in enabling effective planning, inventory management, and customer service performance. You will collaborate closely with Commerce, Sales, and Finance teams, leveraging your analytical strengths to generate insights, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure a robust S&OP process from the demand side—especially during Demand Review (DR) meetings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating the monthly tactical rolling Demand Plan to support planning, inventory, and service
  • Building statistical forecasts for group external sales using established forecasting methods
  • Maintaining, cleansing, and updating historical sales data and model parameters
  • Gathering and integrating commercial and sales input (e.g., customer or product changes) into the demand plan
  • Developing strong cross-functional relationships with Commerce, Sales, and Finance teams.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and proposing mitigation scenarios
  • Leveraging Excel and Power BI for high-quality analysis; evolving toward Python and SQL with support
  • Leading the demand side of the S&OP process, especially Demand Review (DR) meetings
  • Supporting the implementation of an Advanced Planning System in Demand Planning

This full-time position can be located in any Wipak European site. We value flexibility, and remote work is also possible.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, customer service, finance, or commercial roles
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI and Copilot, with readiness to learn Python and SQL
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Outstanding relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to independently drive processes and contribute to cross-functional decision-making
  • Experience with S&OP processes, particularly from the demand side
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or another relevant field
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong digital skills and experience with advanced planning or forecasting tools.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and making informed decisions with incomplete information
