We are now looking for a Group Finance Manager to join our incredible team.
WithSecure Group Finance is a highly centralized finance services team supporting all Group operations. In addition to financial accounting & reporting, we run tax and treasury activities. We value co-operation, supporting each other, finding new ways of working and continuous development. We care for our people and want to help everyone grow in their roles.
This is a permanent position that will start off by substituting another team member during her maternity leave. During this time, we expect you to take over managing finance, tax compliance and corporate secretarial work of our subsidiaries together with our global partner. The permanent role we are open to define together with you based on your interests and experience.
Managing subsidiaries’ statutory & tax compliance services in co-op with our global service provider
Actively participating in development activities in Record-to-Report via planning, implementing and executing
Depending on the person selected, the role can be filled with responsibilities such as:
Group accounting and consolidation according to IFRS standards
Managing tax related projects such as transfer pricing and BEPS
Group treasury activities such as cash management, cash forecasting, FX risk management, treasury reporting
Record-to-report related development & automation initiatives
What are we looking for?
Master’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or audit in an international environment
Knowledge of and hands-on experience with the application of IFRS and the relevant reporting rules and regulations in a public company setting
Sufficient understanding in various taxation related matters such as transfer pricing and VAT. We work together with a global partner, so deep substance expertise is not required. Understanding Finnish taxation is a clear advantage.
Ability to take ownership of development projects and drive them through to completion
Ability to work collaboratively across all levels and functions of the organization as well as with external stakeholders.
Experience in Group cash management, cash flow forecasting or similar treasury related activities is a benefit in this role.
Experience in Group consolidation or developing Record-to-Report related processes is an advantage
Genuine interest in understanding finance systems and developing them
Fearless attitude towards changes in operational environment, processes and ways of working
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
