Trainee, JSBE’s Faculty AI Development Project Team
Do you want to be part of developing the use of artificial intelligence in research and education?
We are looking for a trainee to join the faculty’s AI development project team. The traineeship starts on August 1, 2026, and lasts 3–5 months.
As a trainee, you will work as part of the faculty’s AI development project team. You will participate in hands-on development work, particularly in improving research and teaching workflow processes.
Your tasks may include:
developing and streamlining workflows using AI
identifying and piloting new AI solutions
supporting the implementation of AI tools
producing guidelines and communicating solutions to users
We are looking for a person who understands the potential of AI and is eager to apply it in practice.
We expect you to have:
up-to-date knowledge of the responsible use of AI applications
excellent IT and communication skills
Fluent English and Finnish
In addition, we value:
hands-on experience in using AI applications
a proactive and development-oriented mindset
relevant higher education studies

The position is paid according to the JYU’s trainee salary. The trainee salary ranges from €1,463 to €1,720 per month, depending on the stage of studies.
