Trainee for Anniversary Planning and Communications, JSBE

We are looking for a trainee to support the implementation of our anniversary year through a variety of tasks. We offer an opportunity to be part of a meaningful and engaging project that combines event organization, website work, and communications.

The traineeship starts on August 1, 2026, and lasts 3–5 months.

As a trainee, you will work as part of a team and take part in the practical arrangements of anniversary-related events as well as in communications and intranet renewal tasks.

Your work may include, for example:

  • practical arrangements related to the planning and execution of events
  • coordination of events and participant communications
  • content creation and update tasks related to the intranet renewal
  • hands-on communications tasks (e.g. social media, newsletters, production of materials)

We expect you to have:

  • relevant studies (e.g. communications, marketing, or a related field)
  • a proactive approach and good organizational skills
  • strong written and verbal communication skills Finnish and English
  • interest in event organization and communications
  • basic skills in digital tools and website content management
  • ability to utilize AI in designing communication

The position is paid according to the JYU’s trainee salary. The trainee salary ranges from €1,463 to €1,720 per month, depending on the stage of studies.
